IEEE PROJECT ABSTRACT 2013-BANK SECURITY SYSTEMS WITH SMS(BURGLAR ALARM)



Fuzzy Logic Based Automated Environmental Friendly Vehicle System



            This project is developed to control the pollution by the vehicles.  At present the emission test center to test a vehicle with the testing equipment and percentage CO and other gases are noted and the certificate is given manually.

            By Automating this emission control system automatically sense the polluting agases and if the level is not within the limits then it automatically trips the engine control and puts off the engine to stop the vehicle.

            Along with this we have also included sensors to incorporate various functions. We have the following sensors.
           
1.      Pollution Sensor
2.      Direction Sensor
3.      Temperature Sensor
4.      Humidity Sensor
5.      Fuel Level Monitor

All this parameters can be monitored on the LCD Screen.

Fuzzy Logic Based Differential Relay for Power Transformer Protection

ABSTRACT:

            Power Transformers or any CNC Machines or any electrical devices are always subjected to Highvoltage and low voltage transients.  Many devices will get failed due to this.  Hence we need to monitor the voltage constantly and if goes below or above the range then we need to trip the supply immedieately. One method of protecting power transformers is to use a differential relay.  The operation Diff Relay is to trip the equipment if it finds any difference in the primary and secondary current.


Two basic requirements that the differential-relay connections must satisfy are:
(1)  The differential relay must not operate for load or external faults; and
(2)  The relay must operate for severe enough internal faults.



This is because the diff relay can act due to the following other factors also.
In the case of power transformer applications, possible sources of false differential currents are:

v Mismatch between the CT ratios and the power transformer ratio
v Variable ratio of the power transformer caused by a tap changer
v Phase shift between the power transformer primary and secondary currents Magnetizing inrush currents
v Transformer overexcitation
v Current transformer saturation

So, There should be an intelligent Mechanism to prevent the diff relay from fault triggering.  In this project we have employed fuzzy logic to prevent this fault triggering.  Our system  when detects a current difference between the primary and the secondary it also checks for other causes using fuzzy logic and operates the relay only when essential. The other factors which induces the fault triggering is given to the controller through switch inputs.

About Fuzzy:
          Fuzzy Logic was initiated in 1965 by lofti A. Zadeh, professor for Computer science at the university of California in Berkeley.

          Fuzzy logic is a powerful new technology and has emerged as a profitable tool for the controlling of subway systems and complex industrial processes, as well as for household and entertainment electronics, diagnosis systems and other expert systems.  Although, fuzzy logic was invented in United states the rapid growth of this technology has started from Japan and has now again reached the USA and Europe also.

          Fuzzy has become a keyword for marketing.  Electronic articles without fuzzy component gradually turn out to be a dead stock.  As a gag, that shows the popularity of fuzzy logic, there even exists a toilet paper with ‘Fuzzy Logic’ Printed on  it.  In japan fuzzy-research is widely supported with a huge budget.  In Europe and the USA efforts are being made to catch up with the tremendous Japanese success.  For instance, the NASA space agency is engaged in applying fuzzy logic for complex docking-maneuvers.

          Fuzzy logic is basically a multivalued logic that allows intermediate values to be defined between conventional evaluations like yes/no, true/false, black/white etc.  Notions like rather warm or pretty cold can be formulated mathematically and processed by computers

Alarm Systems
Banks need multiple layers of security to thwart intruders. Prominently placed cameras are visible deterrents, but discreet products help combat more sophisticated criminals. We can incorporate high-tech electronic tools that alert the user about intruders without announcing their presence—like range-controlled radar motion detectors that can be conceal behind curtains and even walls. The radar penetrates the barriers, so that we can able detect motion at precise distances and silently notify security officials.

Range-controlled radar motion detectors respond to motion only within the range you specify, and they ignore incidental motion within that range. They prevent false alarms caused by rattling doors and activity in nearby areas.

Glassbreak sensors detect any breakage and instantly send an alarm if intruders try to enter your building through a window.

Magnetic contacts sense when doors are open.

Seismic Vibration Detector

If anyone tries to break into a vault, a seismic vibration detector will sense it. Advanced circuitry enables a seismic vibration detector to differentiate between real attacks and vibrations caused by service access or normal operation. ATM machines are a bank’s most public asset, and they’re more prone to vandalism or theft attempts than other equipment. If anyone tampers with an ATM or tries to remove it, a seismic vibration detector will sense it.

Bill Trap is a limit Switch which is Placed discreetly in a cash register drawer. The bill trap provides a covert way to trigger an alarm. When all the money is removed from a cash register drawer, the bill trap switch closes and notifies the system—without the robber or thief knowing.

Video Surveillance
Video surveillance products Will give is the flexibility to create a security system that fits our needs perfectly.  To Demonstrate, here We have used a Web Camera Connected to a computers USB Port.
We can use this cameras to detect motion, trigger alarms and switch to recording modes during emergencies. The recorded images can be stored  internal hard drives for later processing.
